Jennifer Lopez Dazzled in Diamonds at the 2024 Met Gala
For the 2024 Met Gala, Jennifer Lopez glistened in extraordinary Tiffany & Co. diamond jewels.
Jennifer Lopez chose an incredible suite of natural diamond jewelry from Tiffany & Co. for the 2024 Met Gala. Attending the exclusive soirée for the 15th time, Lopez has never failed to make a swoon-worthy style statement, especially with the help of some extraordinary diamonds.
Serving as a co-host for this year’s event, Lopez arrived on the red carpet early on in the evening, kicking off the night in a Schiaparelli Haute Couture butterfly gown and epic natural diamonds from the Blue Book 2024: Tiffany Celéste Collection and Jean Schlumberger.
Most notably, Lopez donned an incredible diamond necklace, which appeared to have feathered wings fraying out from a 20-carat center stone and wrapping around her collar. Altogether, the piece was covered in 75 carats of diamonds.
Pulling her caramel brown locks up into an elegant topknot, Lopez showed off her platinum and 18-karat yellow gold diamond drop earrings, weighing in at over 3 carats. The star teamed her ensemble with a matching 3-carat diamond bracelet and diamond ring from the Tiffany Celéste Collection, along with a Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Bird on a Rock ring, including a Fancy Yellow 4-carat diamond and a 4-carat white diamond.
Lopez is joined by fellow 2024 Met Ball co-chairs including Zendaya, Bad Bunny, and Chris Hemsworth, who are serving alongside the gala’s longtime honorary hosts Anna Wintour, Tom Ford, and Head of Instagram Adam Mosseri, as well as TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew and fashion designer Jonathan Anderson.
This year’s exhibit, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” will open on May 10 and will showcase 250 items from the Met’s permanent collection, while tonight’s theme and suggested dress code for the evening is “The Garden of Time.”
Throughout the years, Lopez has garnered a reputation for dazzling in diamonds on the Met steps. Last year, the superstar adorned 15-carat cluster diamond earrings from Lorraine Schwartz. Then in 2019, she wore Harry Winston’s “Purple Dragon Necklace” including 64.16 carats of round brilliant, pear-shaped, and marquise-shaped white diamonds, and in 2017, she wore 42.54-carat Harry Winston three-row hoop earrings.
Each year since 1948, A-list guests gather in New York City for fashion’s biggest night. On the first Monday in May, celebrities, designers, industry icons, and socialites all come together at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, looking their very best in over-the-top couture ensembles and exuberant natural diamond jewels.
