The Boston Celtics have taken their victory celebration to the next level by unveiling the 2024 NBA Championship Ring—an extraordinary piece of natural diamond jewelry symbolizing history and a masterful work of art. Designed by renowned jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills, this dazzling ring commemorates the Celtics’ 18th championship title. This triumph marked their return to glory and cemented their legacy as the most winning franchise in the history of the NBA.

The 2024 Championship Ring is the latest masterpiece from Jason of Beverly Hills, who has crafted 19 championship rings across the major sports leagues (NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL) over the past 15 years. Known for his bold, meaningful, and innovative designs, Jason’s work this year is a fitting tribute to a team that redefined excellence during their historic run. From the symbolic emerald-cut diamonds to the cutting-edge NFC chip technology embedded within, this ring combines tradition, storytelling, and modern innovation.

“We collaborated closely with the Celtics ownership on the ring design. The Celtics had 17 championships before last season, which means they’ve had 17 championship rings before us. We all wanted to make sure the 18th was the best and most memorable,” said Jason Arasheben, CEO Jason of Beverly Hills.

The design of the 2024 ring captures the Celtics’ history with a particular emphasis on emerald-cut natural diamonds, the team’s signature green color, a diamond shamrock, and a storied championship past. The outer bezel of the ring is adorned with 18 emerald-cut natural diamonds, each representing one of the franchise’s 18 titles. The Celtics’ long-standing quest to become the NBA’s most decorated team began with Bill Russell’s dynasty in the 1950s and culminated in this latest triumph.

The design of this ring has paid attention to every detail. Front and center are three heart-shaped natural diamonds set to form the Celtics’ iconic shamrock logo. Along the side bezel, 84 points of diamonds pay tribute to the Celtics’ 84% playoff winning percentage during their 2024 campaign. The inner bezel features 16 more emerald-cut natural diamonds, symbolizing the team’s total playoff victories this year. The face of the ring features 30 points of natural diamonds set in the word “world,” representing the Celtics’ 30 seasons at the iconic TD Garden. Below that, 80 natural diamonds in the word “champions” honor the team’s combined regular season and playoff wins—an impressive 80 victories in a single season that will be remembered for years. Encircling the ring are the years of each of the Celtics’ past championship seasons, cycling around the perimeter like a historical timeline of one of the most successful franchises in sports. In total, each ring features 15 carats of natural diamonds, representing the 15 teams in the Eastern Conference.

The signature parquet floor pattern, synonymous with the Celtics’ home court, is etched into the sides of the ring, offering a nostalgic nod to the court that has witnessed some of the most iconic moments in NBA history. This year’s championship record—80-21—is engraved on one side of the ring, a constant reminder of the team’s season-long determination to do “Whatever It Takes,” the team’s 2024 mantra, which is also engraved on the ring.

The personal touch extends to each player’s ring. On one side, the player’s name and number are prominently displayed, flanked by two natural diamonds representing the two championships won under current ownership. However, the true marvel lies inside the ring, accessible only by removing the top. Hidden within is a piece of the original parquet floor from TD Garden, engraved with the date and score of the Celtics’ championship-clinching game. On the opposite side, a replica of the championship banner and the jersey numbers of each player adds to the ring’s significance.

The most groundbreaking element of the 2024 ring is its use of NFC chip technology. For the first time in history, the recipient can tap their phone against the parquet piece inside the ring, instantly revealing a personalized video detailing how their diamond ring was made. This unique integration of technology showcases the craftsmanship behind each ring and makes this championship ring experience genuinely one-of-a-kind.

The 2024 rings’ reveal at TD Garden was an emotional moment. Current Celtics players received their rings alongside NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and Celtics legends Ray Allen, Bob Cousy, Kevin Garnett, Cedric Maxwell, and Paul Pierce. The ceremony culminated in raising Banner 18 to the rafters, symbolizing this season’s victory and the collective legacy of all the Celtics’ champions before them.

For fans, the excitement doesn’t end there. The Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation offers a once-in-a-lifetime chance to win a customized edition of the 2024 Championship Ring through a raffle, with proceeds benefiting the foundation’s initiatives to support and uplift communities in need. Fans can also purchase replica rings and exclusive jewelry pieces through the newly launched fan retail program, which is available at TD Garden on game nights and online.

This ring is more than just a piece of jewelry—it’s a celebration of Celtics basketball’s past, present, and future. Jason of Beverly Hills has once again proven that a natural diamond championship ring is not just a symbol of victory but also of a team’s journey, sacrifice, and unwavering spirit.
