The Oscars may be the pinnacle of red carpet fashion and diamond jewelry looks, but the Academy Museum Gala, now in its second year, is quickly becoming one of the most glamorous events in Hollywood.
Held at the stunning Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, this year’s soirée raised more than $10 million in support of the museum’s programming initiatives like the Regeneration: Black Cinema 1898–1971 exhibit currently on display. The event treated honorees like Julia Roberts and Tilda Swinton, as well as the who’s who of Hollywood, to a Wolfgang Puck-inspired dinner and a performance by Diana Ross, but it was the couture looks and head-turning display of natural diamonds by these stars that has made this gala one to watch.
