Kordell Beckham Shares His Natural Diamonds with the Cast of Love Island USA
Call it “The Brotherhood of the Traveling Chains.” Warning: Spoilers for Love Island USA season 6 ahead.
Kordell Beckham, younger brother of NFL star Odell Beckham Jr., took the Love Island USA villa by storm this summer, wearing an array of natural diamond chains. All eyes were on Beckham, his jewelry, and his instant connection with Serena Page, which led to their rise in popularity and win the Love Island USA season 6 trophy. Love Island fans worldwide are calling this season of Love Island USA the buzziest one yet, and we have to agree, especially because natural diamonds had their bombshell moment.
The purpose of Love Island is to find love and make connections, but for the cast of season 6, some even had the privilege of borrowing Beckham’s serious bling. Beckham came prepared for the summer, only packing the essentials: a few natural diamond curb chains, a chunky halo-set diamond necklace, an epic diamond spider pendant, diamond studs, and a long diamond pendant necklace.
His friend and fan favorite, Rob Rausch wore Beckham’s natural diamond spider pendant on a pavé curb chain, paired with his overalls. The look was fitting for Rausch since he is a snake wrangler with an affinity for insects. Rausch attempted to share his love of insects with the ladies in the villa, most of them uninterested–in the insects, that is.
Miguel Harichi also added some icy diamond chains to his villa looks, courtesy of Beckham. Harichi made it to the finale alongside Beckham and Page with another favorite of this season, Leah Kateb. Kateb also wore her own natural diamond tennis bracelets throughout the season.
This isn’t the first time we have seen natural diamonds in the Love Island villa. During season 10 of the UK series, Gemma Owen, daughter of famous soccer player Michael Owen, wore an iconic Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger necklace every day. The necklace featured 92 round brilliant-cut diamonds in between 18K gold Xs.
Beckham, like Owen, found love in the villa, coupling up with Page in the first episode. The couple wore lime green ensembles and Beckham in several natural diamond chains. The pair stayed together throughout the season, despite the show’s several “tests” (Casa Amor, bombshells, etc.). The couple matched again for the finale, this time, wearing hot pink. Beckham, of course in layered natural diamond chains, and Page in her own diamond “Serena” nameplate necklace. Lucky for fans (myself included) Beckham and Page took home the Love Island USA trophy, which included a $100,000 prize, which they chose to split $50,000 each.
While Love Island USA season 6 comes to a close, this will not be the last time we will see Beckham (or his chains), as we tune in on August 19th for the first ever Love Island USA reunion.
