The Los Angeles Rams Super Bowl LVI Ring Has the Most Diamond Carat Weight in Championship Ring History
The Los Angeles Rams have unveiled their Super Bowl LVI championship ring during a special Los Angeles ceremony with players, coaches and staff. The diamond-covered ring celebrates the Ram’s historic 23-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals at SoFi Stadium and is packed with details and symbolism that must be seen to believe.

The ring’s groundbreaking design was a collaborative effort between players, team leadership and Los Angeles-based jewelry house Jason of Beverly Hills. Championship rings have become synonymous with Jason of Beverly Hills as this is the twelfth championship ring across four major sports franchises that Jason of Beverly Hills manufactured and produced.
“To be able to not only win the Super Bowl but also to do it in the house Mr. Kroenke built is really a dream come true,” said Los Angeles Rams Vice President of Football & Business Affairs Tony Pastoors. “We are grateful to Jason and his team for their creativity and passion to deliver a championship ring that reflects our team and their historic season, the one-of-a-kind stadium where it happened, and the city that inspired all of it.”
Given the significance of SoFi Stadium to the Rams, the shape of the Super Bowl LVI ring mimics the architectural elements of the stadium. Between the top and body of the ring sit columns that mirror the columns that hold up SoFi Stadium’s iconic canopy roof. This unique design allows you to see into the stadium bowl hidden inside the ring as if you were looking at the actual stadium from the outside. There are 0.23 carats of diamonds on the columns representing the 23 points scored in the Super Bowl.
Jason of Beverly Hills championship rings have become famous for their removable pieces and convertible elements. With this ring, the diamond-clad top can be removed entirely to reveal the SoFi Stadium’s bowl, complete with the Infinity Screen and incredible detail. The underside of the removable top features a view of SoFi Stadium’s translucent ETFE roof surrounded by a real piece of a Super Bowl LVI game ball. The field in the stadium inside the ring is made up of a unique green material made with remnants of the actual turf in which Super Bowl LVI was played.
Jason of Beverly Hills has a reputation of continually outdoing themselves, and the Super Bowl LVI ring is no exception. The Rams ring has the most diamond carat weight in Championship ring history. The ring has approximately 20 carats total of white diamonds set on white and yellow gold. The 20 carats of mixed-cut diamonds celebrate the official opening of SoFi Stadium in 2020. The ring has 1.12 carats of round diamonds to represent January 12, honoring three critical dates in Rams history: on January 12, 2016, the Rams were approved to move back to Los Angeles; on January 12, 2017, the Rams hired Head Coach Sean McVay; and on January 12, 2019, the Rams beat the Dallas Cowboys 30-22 for their first playoff victory after their L.A. return.
On the face of the ring is the Vince Lombardi Trophy, comprised of one marquise cut diamond and a trophy base of .12 carats of round diamonds representing the 12 regular season game wins. Palm trees on either side of the Trophy celebrate Los Angeles, consisting of .26 carats of diamonds representing the franchise’s 26 total postseason wins. The center Rams logo features custom-cut blue and yellow sapphires.
“Most people don’t understand how immersed we become in the design process. We are passionate about understanding the team, the season and the city. We spent an entire day at SoFi Stadium. The first thing I said was, “What can you get me from the game? The field? Ball? What else?” I didn’t just want it to be historical in design but have physical elements from the event as well. It all adds value and authenticity, creating a one-of-a-kind piece of memorabilia,” said Jason Arasheben, CEO of Jason in Beverly Hills.
One side of the ring features the player’s name with their number set with diamonds. There are also two stars to pay homage to the franchise’s two Super Bowl Championships and to Los Angeles, which is known as the city of stars. The other side of the ring has the Super Bowl LVI final score 23-20, the NFL Shield and Super Bowl LVI logo, and “WORLD CHAMPIONS” on a plate that mimics the shape of the Infinity Screen.
The two diamonds on each side of the ring, totaling four stones, represent the four teams the Rams beat in the 2021 Postseason to win Super Bowl LVI.
The Los Angeles Rams Super Bowl LVI ring is truly a masterpiece that symbolizes and commemorates this historic win for all involved in a way that only fine diamond jewelry can. A way and that will undoubtedly last forever.
