Stars Spotlight High Jewelry and Natural Diamonds at Paris Haute Couture

Thanks to a host of celebrities and VIPS, Paris Haute Couture shone exceptionally bright this season. The event features runway shows ripe with custom-made clothes and the debut of high jewelry collections brimming with HNWI clientele shopping for these one-of-a-kind goods. With another stellar season wrapping up last week, Only Natural Diamonds has decided to look at the diamond drips on the attendees who gave the affair an even buzzier sparkle.

Bulgari had some prime moments on social media during Couture. Stylist Erin Walsh assembled looks for clients Anne Hathaway and Ashley Park to attend the Valentino Haute Couture show, accessorizing with Bulgari fine jewelry. Hathaway dazzled in a head-to-toe crystal leopard look from the Roman fashion house, topped off with Bulgari Serpenti shoulder duster earrings in a clip-on style, while Park, who was also wearing an ankle brace and heels, wore a satin blazer dress with a V logo catsuit underneath topped off with a pair of blue bead fringed earrings.

While KPOP stars reigned at the Paris Men’s Shows the week before, a few were spotted at the Couture. The “King of K-Pop,” G-Dragon, aka Kwon Ji-yong, attended the Chanel Haute Show dressed head to toe in Chanel. He adorned the lapel of a black jacket embroidered with white Camelias with a Chanel High Jewelry ‘Timeless’ brooch.

Apple Martin debuted her first Chanel show wearing a sassy tweed suit accented with an 18K beige gold and a diamond Coco Crush bracelet with an 18K yellow gold and a Coco Crush necklace. Tilda Swinton also wore pieces from the Chanel Fine Jewelry collection, finishing her look with the Etoile FIlante 18k white and yellow gold and diamond necklace, the Soleil de Chanel 18K white and yellow gold and diamond ring with Coco Crush 18K white and yellow gold and diamond earrings.

Gucci dazzled Place Vendôme with an event at the Ritz Paris hotel to celebrate its Hortus Deliciarum High Jewelry collection unveiled during the week. The private dinner drew guests Sienna Miller, Diane Kruger, French actress Karidja Touré, Carla Bruni, Laura Santo Domingo, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, among others, dressed head-to-toe in the Italian luxury brand.

Kruger, Miller, and Touré were lucky to be bedecked in pieces from the new collection, which reflected an imaginary Grand Tour. Divided into five themes, the jewelry’s aesthetic journey from the mid-nineteenth century to the 1970s interprets the concept of the Grand Tour, capturing a trip from Rome to India, exploring mythology, dissecting the modernism of the New World in the 30s and 40s and finally, Seventies pop culture through the gold, diamond, and jeweled pieces.

The actresses did justice to the Hortus Deliciarum collection with Miller wearing white gold and diamond necklaces and multi-finger rings; Kruger donning a parure comprised of a necklace, bracelet, earrings in diamonds and emerald plus a multi-finger ring made with a green tourmaline while Touré shone in white gold and diamond earrings.
