Phillips’ Jewels & More auction is underway and the bidding wars on some incredible, and incredibly priced pieces, have us at the edge of our seats. While many fine jewelry auctions can have a reputation of being stuffy and only for the ultra-wealthy, Phillips Auction House is helping to bring diamond auctions to the masses thanks to some of their listings selling at no reserve.

So what does it mean to list a piece as ‘no reserve’ on auction? The piece has to sell regardless of how low the bids are, so bidders can end up with incredible deals on some unique pieces. It is an exciting way to shop for eclectic selections of vintage and contemporary diamond jewelry that you are unlikely to see outside of auctions and at surprisingly great values. This diamond, platinum, and gold ring was once owned by six sisters from South America and features a round brilliant-cut diamond in the center, weighing in at 3.7 carats along with small, single-cut diamonds dotted along the setting, totaling 1 carats. Because of its unique origin and vintage branding, this ring is expected to sell at at least $30K

Diamond & Multi-Color Gem Brooch

On auction with no reserve, this special piece features diamonds, colored diamonds and colorful gems on a plateful and 18K yellow gold setting. The diamonds weigh in at 4.35 carats total. At no reserve, this piece is expected to sell at $1.2K

These hoops feel modern and fresh and at $3K to $5K estimated sale, it’s a great deal. The hoops feature 9.55 carats of round brilliant-cut and single-cut diamonds, all set on 18K gold,

Antique Convertible Diamond Necklace

Another piece from the South American sisters’ collection, this French antique convertible necklace is made of silver-topped gold and featured old mine-cut and rose-cut diamonds weighing in at 18.45 carats total. Phillips is expecting these piece to sell anywhere between $8K and $12K.

Diamond and Platinum Eternity Band

A classic ring, this 7.5-carat eternity band features emerald-cut diamonds. Phillips is estimating a sale at about $5K, although we could see it selling for a few thousand more.

Looking to add a basic and beautiful piece to your collection? This diamond and platinum necklace is perfect for layering and features a total of 2 carats of round, brilliant-cut diamonds. It will most likely sell between $2K and $3K, a great deal for a piece you could wear every day.

This unique fashion ring could also be a perfect blingy wedding band for the man who loves diamonds. Weighing in at 0.55 carats, this ring will most likely sell at under $2K, a pretty great deal for a gorgeous piece.

These diamond and white gold earrings are the perfect statement piece for your next big night out. The earrings are rhodium plated 18K gold, feature 9.55 carats of round brilliant-cut diamonds, and are expected to sell at around $10K.

Fancy Dark Brown Diamond Ring

Another truly unique piece offered with no reserve, this fancy dark brown diamond features a classic emerald cut and weighs in at 3.4 carats. The dark brown diamond is set with baguette-cut diamonds, totaling approximately 0.5 carats. Phillips believes this piece will sell somewhere between $8K and $12K

Pearl and Diamond Brooch

Offered with no reserve, this near round cultured pearl is surrounded by round brilliant-cut diamonds, weighing 3.4 carats and set on 18K white gold. It is estimated to sell for between $2K and $4K.

Double Diamond Ring

Featuring two pear-shaped modified brilliant-cut diamonds, each weighing in at 0.7 carats, this unique ring is a take on the toi et moi setting. The rose-cut diamonds are surrounded by round brilliant-cut diamonds, totaling about 0.5 carats, and are expected to sell at around $8K to 12K.
