It’s hard to believe that Hermès could improve upon the impossibly chic Kelly watch, but it just did. Created in 1967, Cartier’s signature Crash timepiece revolutionized the aesthetic codes of watchmaking with its striking asymmetrical case. This year, the house created an equally arresting new version, this time with abstract diamond and blue and green enamel stripes designed to evoke the animal world. A triumph in artistry, Cartier’s master craftsmen will produce just 50 numbered pieces.

Chanel J12 Gabrielle Caliber 3.1

For all those Coco Chanel lovers, we have the diamond watch for you. The new J12 pays homage to the iconic designer with a painting of her silhouette emblazoned on the dial framed in black ceramic, and a white gold bezel that is set with 46 baguette cut diamonds. Like the designer, the watch packs power, housing Chanel’s Caliber 3.1 in-house manual winding movement with a power reserve of 55 hours.  It’s being issued in a limited edition of just 55.
